Niacinamide (vitamin B3) can benefit all skin types and ages – it is regularly used in acne skincare as it helps regulate sebum production, reduce inflammation and heal blemishes. Additionally, niacinamide is also known to support the skin barrier, reduce fine lines, fade age spots, and brighten the complexion.
This cream boasts added hydration with low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, which absorbs readily into the skin to help skin stay hydrated and elastic. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in skin and other tissues, but it can decrease as we age, possibly contributing to loss of moisture and elasticity.
The cream is light, non-greasy, and made with low comedogenic oils and emollients – so it is suitable for blemish prone skin as it won’t block pores. The hemp seed oil has anti-inflammatory properties which can help acne, eczema, and its omega-3 and 6 fatty acids can improve dry skin. The cream also contains the natural plant-based emollient isoamyl laurate which adds incredible lightweight silkiness and makes the cream easy to apply.
Kānuka hydrosol and essential oil add a clean herbaceous fragrance and provide anti-inflammatory and healing properties which can help acne or other skin conditions. The green tea extract is also beneficial for acne and blemish-prone skin.
